This 7-Hour USPAP Update Course is taught by Bill Novotny, an Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) certified USPAP course instructor. This update course is designed for the personal property appraiser who, as a prerequisite, has kept current with the biennial USPAP updates or has taken the 15-HR National USPAP Course during the previous two-year cycle.
This course is taught live by an AQB-certified instructor and makes use official materials from The Appraisal Foundation (TAF) including TAF’s Student Manual and Student Answers. This course conforms to all TAF course requirements, is the same course as taught by other AQB-certified instructors and, as such, satisfies USPAP Update Course requirements for all personal property appraisers regardless of societal affiliation. Mr. Novotny is a highly-experienced generalist personal property appraiser. In 2002 he became the first personal property appraiser to be certified by the AQB, and he has remained certified ever since. He has repeatedly taught the 7-Hour USPAP Update Course as well as the 15-Hour National USPAP Course throughout the country for the ISA, ASA, PAAQT and other personal property oriented organizations such as The College for Appraisers.
