Getting Paid !

Round Table Discussion led by
Pamela Bensoussan , ASA and Georgie Stillman, ASA

Please Note Meeting Date is Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

Bring Your Client Contract or Letter of Engagement to share with other members and get tips for improving your client agreement for services and payment.

Louis Goldich,

A Letter of Engagement or Client Contract is an essential business tool. It sets out exactly what you have agreed to provide for your client (scope of work), and the terms under which you have agreed to perform your work - what is included in your fees, when you expect to get paid, and how a disagreement or dispute will be handled. Without a legally sound client contract you might have trouble getting paid.

Many of us have developed Letters of Engagement or Client Contracts over the years of our business. Come to Tuesday’s meeting with a sample of your contract to share with others. We will all learn from this experience, and take away something that will improve our ‘business’ side of our appraisal practice.

The San Diego ASA chapter offers many benefits to its members, but one of the greatest is the opportunity to learn from other professionals. Don’t miss out on Tuesday’s meeting!
