The San Diego Chapter of ASA, in association with The Friends of the Villa Montezuma, Inc., is offering this third of four lectures as part of the Connoisseur Series on Victoriana.
Pamela Bensoussan, ASA will speak about several early San Diego artists who were among the first to settle in the region including:

Pamela Bensoussan, ASA , has been actively involved in ASA’s San Diego Chapter for several years, and is currently serving as the Chapter President. She is also Vice-Chair of the Friends of the Villa Montezuma, where the Farnham painting on the left is displayed. In 2006 Pamela appraised the art collection belonging to the San Diego Unified School District – a vast collection that includes many works by the famous early Deans of San Diego Painting. While working on that assignment, Pamela discovered an important painting by Charles Reiffel, missing from the District’s collection, and aided in its recovery.
