The San Diego Chapter of ASA, in association with The Friends of the Villa Montezuma, Inc., is offering this fourth of four lectures as part of the Connoisseur Series on Victoriana.

Jo Ellen Cole, noted expert on Victorian and antique jewelry, will guide you through the outstanding virtuosity and craftsmanship of Victorian period  jewelry, covering over six decades,  and discuss how the political and economic changes influenced the popular designs and styles.

Early California Paintings - April 8

Pamela Bensoussan, ASA, President of the San Diego ASA Chapter, will showcase several early San Diego painters whose works are held by many local public institutions – including the Museum of San Diego History.

Victorian Jewelry - May 13

Gemologist and appraiser Jo Ellen Cole, GG, FGA, will discuss the beauty and workmanship of outstanding Victorian jewelry.
